WASHINGTON – U.S. Representative Evan Jenkins (R-W.Va.) announced today that the Huntington Police Department has received a $36,299 grant from the U.S. Justice Department’s Edward Byrne Memorial Justice Assistance Grant Program.

The grant will be used to purchase equipment and pay for overtime. The grant program is commonly referred to as Byrne JAG grants.
