WASHINGTON – U.S. Representative Evan Jenkins (R-W.Va.) helped secure a $386,400 grant for the city of Gary in McDowell County from the Appalachian Regional Commission for the Gary Wastewater System Inspection and Evaluation project. Rep. Jenkins wrote a letter of support to the ARC for the city’s grant request.

The $952,746 grant will be used to rehabilitate the apron.

WASHINGTON – U.S. Representative Evan Jenkins (R-W.Va.) announced today that the Greenbrier County Airport Authority has received a grant of more than $2.5 million from the U.S. Transportation Department for improvements to the Greenbrier Valley Airport.
The $2,546,117 grant will be used to build a taxiway and rehabilitate the apron.
