More than $2 million for Fayette County Head Start & Early Head Start

Fayette County Child Development provides Head Start and Early Head Start programs at no cost to Fayette County families.
$35,069 for the Barboursville Volunteer Fire Department
WASHINGTON – U.S. Representative Evan Jenkins (R-W.Va.) announced today that the Barboursville Volunteer Fire Department has received a $35,069 Fire Prevention and Safety grant from the U.S. Federal Emergency Management Agency. The money will be used to purchase extrication equipment for firefighters.

WASHINGTON – U.S. Representative Evan Jenkins (R-W.Va.) announced today that the Ceredo Volunteer Fire Department has received a $259,139 Assistance to Firefighters Grant from the U.S. Department of Homeland Security. The money will be used to purchase thermal imaging cameras, self-contained breathing apparatus, hoses, nozzles and a fill station.
$118,400 for the Coal City Volunteer Fire Department
WASHINGTON – U.S. Representative Evan Jenkins (R-W.Va.) announced today that the Coal City Volunteer Fire Department has received a $118,400 Assistance to Firefighters Grant from the U.S. Department of Homeland Security. The money will be used to purchase thermal imaging cameras and self-contained breathing apparatus for firefighters.
