REP. JENKINS STATEMENT ON BIPARTISAN BUDGET ACT
WASHINGTON – U.S. Representative Evan Jenkins (R-W.Va.) issued the following statement on the Bipartisan Budget Act, a compromise bill to fund the government through March 23:
“House and Senate leadership announced legislation today to prevent a government shutdown. I am carefully studying and reviewing this bill to determine if this agreement is in the best interests of West Virginia. Our state has many funding priorities, including the opioid crisis, community health centers, border security, and supporting our troops, that must be urgently addressed,” Rep. Jenkins said.
