REP. JENKINS ANNOUNCES MERCER CO. STUDENT ACCEPTED TO WEST POINT
WASHINGTON – U.S. Representative Evan Jenkins (R-W.Va.) announced today that Joshua Seth Siemiaczko of Bluefield has been admitted to the U.S. Military Academy at West Point. Rep. Jenkins nominated Siemiaczko to the academy, and the academy has offered him admission to the class of 2021.
Joshua Siemiaczko, the son of Robin Primmer and Michael Siemiaczko, is a senior at Princeton Senior High School.
“I am proud to congratulate Josh on his admission to West Point and am confident that he embodies the best that West Virginia has to offer. Josh is an outstanding student, and I know he will make our state proud at West Point. I am grateful for his willingness to serve our nation in uniform and wish him all the best,” Rep. Jenkins said.
Rep. Jenkins nominated eight West Virginia high school students to U.S. military service academies this year, and Siemiaczko is the third to be offered admission by an academy. The first was Tyler Owens of Cass, who was admitted to the U.S. Air Force Academy. The second was Clay Havens of Union, who was admitted to the U.S. Naval Academy.
