REP. JENKINS ANNOUNCES $1 MILLION GRANT FOR BLUESTONE HEALTH
WASHINGTON – U.S. Representative Evan Jenkins (R-W.Va.) announced today that Bluestone Health Association in Princeton has received a $1,062,177 grant from the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services.
The grant will be used to open a new satellite health center in Bluefield to offer primary care and other health services.
“Community health centers fill a critical gap in health care in southern West Virginia. These centers ensure low-income residents have consistent access to health care and develop relationships with their doctors to improve their health. I am pleased that Bluestone Health Association will receive more than $1 million to open a new center in Bluefield and offer care to even more West Virginians,” Rep. Jenkins said.
